Dr Aston Parmar BChD (Leeds)
Cosmetic Dentist - GDC No 194901
Aston has 10 years of experience of working exclusively in South Wales having qualified from the University of Leeds in 2010.
He has worked in a senior associate role for 8 years, refining his ability to successfully deliver great results in complex cases. These cases involve cosmetic dentistry, cosmetically and functionally superior dentures to replace missing teeth and root canal treatments. He has almost a decade of experience in cosmetic orthodontics and uses 3 different orthodontic systems to achieve the most effective method of tooth movement, thereby ensuring the best results for his patients. This allows him to use invisible as well as conventional braces in
order to move teeth to their ideal aesthetic positions.
Aston's focus on full smile makeovers has also led to him performing dental implants - yet another tool in his armamentarium.
He achieves great smiles by choosing the highest calibre international training courses including microscope based re-endodontic teaching by the renowned duo of Godfrey Cutts and James Pritchard, a year-long accredited implant training programme and advanced one to one denture training by specialist prosthodontist Michael Myint. Most recently Aston finished the full microscope residency course for smile makeover treatment planning and execution by Maxim Belograd in Ukraine. He is constantly looking to develop and refine his techniques in order to keep delivering the best possible cosmetic results.
For 3 years Aston has been an elected member of the Gwent Local Dental Committee. The committee's role is to support and guide the local commissioning bodies in developing fair and effective policies in Welsh dentistry.
Aston lives in Cardiff with his wife, two children and golden-doodle dog Merlin. He has a passion for food, whiskey and beekeeping.
